Today I went on a tour of the San Francisco Armory. This historic
building was purchased by an adult film BDSM website. There was some
brief history of the armory itself, but most of the tour revolved around
the website and the sets they used for the website. It was an
interesting tour for the open-minded. There wasn't much time to shoot
too many photos, as the tour guides kept the group moving. The
following pic was from one of the torture rooms. The hardwood floor
(not seen in the photo) is fake; more like a linoleum feel. Just
because somebody likes being "tortured" doesn't mean they like having
sore knees at the end of a days work.

Monarch Butterfly Tour, San Leandro, 1/8/12
Went on the tour a second time, this time it was sunny and warmer than the previous tour.
The butterflies were out and about!

Monarch Butterfly Tour, San Leandro, 12/18/11
Went on a docent-led walk to view migrating Monarch butterflies. It was cold, so they were clustered together with their wings closed.

Pillar Point Harbor, 12/17/11
Went to Pillar Point Harbor to see if they had any crab. Played around with a Holga lens adapter I recently ordered for my camera.

Crabs! $4/lb

Some clever guy's Smart car.

There were quite a few jellies floating around the boats. We were told that they don't sting, but we didn't try handling them.
